OVER THE MOUNTAIN DOWN THE VALLEY
We headed out with all of Dad's camping outdoor equipment in a 1937 Chevy Coupe, with a rollout windshield and rusty fenders rattling all the way. We were going on a fishing camp trip. Now when I say all of his camping outdoor equipment, that means a Coleman gas stove and lantern, his Bushnell binoculars, a couple sleeping bags and a big old canvas tent (that leaked when it rained). We did have a couple air mattresses to sleep on and a homemade folding table to hold the camp stove and camp cookware. Do I remember if we caught any fish? No I don't remember that, but I'm sure Dad did, anyway who cares about some old fish.
